The Port of Lucea (Lucea
Harbor) is one of the safest ports in Jamaica, due to it's horseshoe
shape,
 that
is also surrounded by verdant hills, with the Dolphin Head Mountain
serving as a backdrop, with two forts to guard it's entrance. For More |
Rusea Martin a French refugee, showed is gratitude to the town of Lucea
 for the love they
gave him, by bequeathing his Will to provide for the establishment
of a school , this came about in 1776 and was called the Rusea Free School. |
